Welcome to Elk River K9! We specialize in training you to train your dog. We strive to make your experience with us fun and exciting while acheiving the best results with your dog. Whether you just want a well behaved dog or are looking to compete we have the class for you!

We use a balanced, motivational training method. Your dog will enjoy the training and you will enjoy teaching your companion. Using a balanced method helps you; teach your dog, practice with your dog, and also gives you and your dog a chance to understand each other. Your dog will learn to be obedient by being a fair and consistant handler thus, enhancing you and your dogs relationship to live a happy and enjoyable life together.

We offer a 5,000 square foot heated/air conditioned facility for you and your dogs comfort. With fully matted floors, fenced rings, and top quality AKC regulation equipment. We believe that safety comes first when training your dog. We welcome visitors to come and visit us at any time to see our facility and talk to our instructors.

* Stop, Drop, & Train - Don't have time to make it to classes? We will soon be offering day training! Drop your dog off on the way to work and pick them up on your way home. Our professionals will train your dog while you are at work.

* Private in home sessions - where one of our professional trainers come to you!

* Day Time Training Classes - we will be offering day time classes!

Specialty Classes

* Little Paws Clubhouse - Children learning how to train and handle their dogs. A fun and exciting class for children.

* Senior Class - Smaller classes, only one class at a time, more one on one training.

* Tricks and Acting Class - Teach your dog fun tricks and acting techniques. Upon successfully completeing this course your dog will be invited to attend a photo shoot to be entered in a data base for upcoming events.
